About this procedure
A PRP facial (sometimes called the “vampire facial”) applies the patient’s own platelet-rich plasma to the skin — by injection or microneedling — to support renewal and improve the look of the skin.\n\nBecause the plasma comes from the patient’s own blood, the risk of allergy or reaction is very low.
Who it is suitable for
- ["Dull or tired-looking skin","Fine lines","Uneven texture and tone","Post-inflammatory marks"]
How the procedure is done
A small blood sample is drawn and processed to obtain platelet-rich plasma. Numbing cream is applied, and the plasma is delivered into the skin using fine injections or microneedling.
Recovery & aftercare
Mild redness, swelling and tiny marks settle within a few days. Results build gradually, and a series of sessions is normally recommended.
Important notes
- ["Uses the patient\u2019s own blood \u2014 low risk of reaction","Results are gradual and improve over a course of sessions","Sun protection and a gentle routine are advised afterwards"]
